Fees and returns

What a swap pays today, and what is being finalized.

Being finalized
How anypool liquidity earns is not settled yet. This page says exactly what is true today and what is still open. We will not show yields until they are real.

How fees work in a Pons pool today

a swapPons hook1% + creator taxcoin creatorPonsLP fee: 0 today
In a graduated Pons pool the hook takes the swap fee for the creator and Pons. The pool's own LP fee is 0.

Graduated Pons pools are created with an LP fee of 0. Every swap pays a 1% hook fee plus the coin's creator tax, and the hook sends that to the coin's creator and to Pons. So a position added to the Pons pool deepens the market but does not earn swap fees.

Returns are being finalized

We are deciding between three shapes:

  • Depth only: add to the canonical Pons pool. Your coin gets cheaper to trade; you earn no fees.
  • An anypool pool: a separate Uniswap v4 pool for the same pair with a real LP fee, which earns when trades route through it.
  • An anypool hook: a pool with our own hook that pays LPs and the coin's creator.

Whatever ships, returns will depend on the pool's fee setup and how much trading goes through it. The APR figures on the home page are illustrations.
